Goldtooth Creative officially opens audio mix theatre

Goldtooth Creative expands this year with the grand opening of its state-of-the-art audio mix theatre.

The Railtown-based creative agency and full-service production studio recently wrapped construction on an intuitive space that will allow the Goldtooth audio team to meet all their clients’ sound and music needs.

The audio mix theatre boasts a 5.1 surround sound system, a state-of-the-art Smart AV Tango mixing console and a 155-inch projection screen. Services offered in the audio mix theatre include sound design, music composition, scoring, and mixing.

Equally impressive to the equipment and list of services is the caliber of the talent behind them. Goldtooth Creative co-owner Tyler Weiss leads the audio team. Weiss brings with him an impressive list of sound design and music composition credits that run the gamut from commercials to film to top-selling videogames. Emmy Award-winning sound designer and mixer Tony Gort and former EMI recording artist and composer Ben Lumsden round out the team.

The opening of the audio room coincides with Goldtooth’s completion of work on Candyland, an independent feature written and directed by Kate Twa that will premiere this Spring. Amidst the construction, the Goldtooth audio crew provided Candyland with original music, 5.1 mixing, dialogue editing, ADR recording, foley, and sound design.

Since its inception in July 2008, Goldtooth Creative has developed trailers, teasers and commercials for numerous videogame franchises, including Fight Night Round 4, True Crime,Prototype, Need For Speed Undercover and NBA Live 10, as well as CG elements for summer blockbuster District 9.
