"Customer Experience & Design"

‘Create a good customer experience’ – a simple rule that has yielded tremendous business results for brands like Google, Apple, and others. Easy to talk about (which we will do in this session), hard to do (which is our job in real life). We’ll share the basics, the wildly disparate applications thereof, and introduce some of the evolutionary pressures that are shaping the way we’ll think about this in the not-too-distant future.

"The Social Web"

Digg, Del.icio.us, RSS, Twitter, StumbleUpon...the list of emerging Web 2.0 or "social media" tools is ever-lengthening. What are they? How do they work? How are people using them? The world of social media and user-generated content changes on a month-to-month basis. It's critical for marketers and content creators to keep abreast of what's new, what's dead and what matters.

This workshop will introduce attendees to the latest social media channels, and demonstrate how they can be used in their marketing activities. The session will feature plenty of real-world examples and hands-on training, and attendees will leave with tactics they can immediately apply to their marketing challenges.
