Full Member, voting
Company (1-19 employees): ($350 + GST)*
Company (20+ employees): ($650 + GST)*
- Incorporated companies which derive a significant amount of their revenue through new media tools, products, and services. Examples include:
- Games, Digital Entertainment
- Digital Film, Animation & VFX
- Interactive Design and Marketing, Web Tools, Web 2.0
- Mobile Applications / Content
- E-Learning
- (not limited to digital media companies)
Educational Institute, by department or school: ($350 + GST)*
- Post-Secondary institutions offering programs in:
- Information Technology
- Digital Film & Animation
- Interactive Design and Marketing
- Web Development & Programming
- Mobile Applications & Content
- Software Development
- Game Development
- E-Learning
Service Providers & Government Organizations ($1,250 + GST)*
- These are companies, corporations or government agencies that support or provide services to new media businesses. Examples include:
- Law, Accounting & Insurance Firms
- Investment & Venture Capital Firms
- Consultation Firms
- Accommodations, Property Management
- Banks & Financial Services Providers
- Recruitment Firms
- Government Agencies and Organizations
Associate Member, non-voting
Individual Member: ($150 + GST)*
- If you are a freelancer or independent contractor aka sole proprietor, this associate membership provides the benefits to one (1) person only. Not applicable to incorporated companies (non-transferable).
Student Member: ($35 + GST)
- This is the membership you need if you are a full-time student enrolled in a post-secondary institution. It provides all the benefits of associate membership to one (1) person only (non-transferable).
Full Member, including sponsorship benefits
- Level 1 – Platinum – Industry Champion – As an industry leader supporting our operations and events, you will receive exposure throughout the year and at all major events. We'll work together to develop a custom plan to help you gain access to audiences and opportunities to connect and build relationships with the digital media community. We will heavily market your brand, company and message. You are known as a champion supporter of talent, creativity, and industry growth. Lead your sectors' advocacy initiatives and leverage New Media BC's connection with the digital media industry. Contact us to explore the possibilities and to create a unique plan designed to meet your specific needs.
- Level 2 – Gold – Industry Patron – You value the tireless effort and work New Media BC does to advocate British Columbia as one of the best places to create and commercialize digital media. We recognize your generous support and go the extra mile to develop a recognition program to enhance our partnership. Through branding on our website and newsletter, the introduction of speakers and sessions, and the opportunity to take part in strategic discussion with the New Media BC Board, this membership's for you!
- Level 3 – Silver – Professional Development Partner – As a Pro-D partner your logo is included on our website and at our events that deliver professional excellence. Work with us early to develop a sound plan and strategy to maximize meeting your business objectives. You can introduce speakers and host sessions or distribute promotional materials to large audiences. Whatever your fix, we can help you. We want to learn what you want everyone to know.
- Level 4 – Bronze – Networking Events Sponsor – You value networking as a fun and powerful business development strategy. We profile your logo on our events page and work with you to make the most out of events such as Open Houses, Mixers, and Parties. Speak with us to create your ideal package.
